Service Description

The Beacon is a place where people can go to find a warm, accepting environment and friendly atmosphere. They welcome anyone who is suffering from homelessness, mental health or substance misuse issues, or anyone feeling isolated and marginalised within society.

 

 

Key functions & activities offered

The Beacon offers:

  • hot drinks and simple snacks
  • a listening ear
  • advice
  • links to other agencies which may be of help
  • staff from Connection Support call in on Mondays and Wednesdays
  • Cherwell District Council Homelessness prevention officer attends on Mondays
  • Staff from Turning Pointdrug and alcohol agencyattends on Tuesdays
